URINAL DRONE
The Urinal drone's appearance is as obvious as its name, and it's specialized for one purpose only. Its entire body is completely covered in yellow latex, which makes it easy to spot the Urinal drone from a distance and makes it less noticeable if urine splashes onto its body. It has a funnel on its forehead and a urinal on its back, where the user can urinate. A tube runs inside the drone's body to hold the urine.
The hands of all urinal drones are modified in mittens, making them unable to control any objects. This is more than just a physical constraint, it's an important factor in creating a sense of psychological helplessness, cutting off all possibilities for the drones to change their situation. This physical helplessness eventually leads to mental surrender.
The main function of a urinal drone is to collect and store as much human urine as possible. As urine fills the drone's stomach, its abdomen expands. When the storage capacity reaches its limit, the drone has two options. First, it can navigate itself to the nearest sewage treatment plant and empty the stored urine. Second, if it doesn't have access to a sewage treatment plant, it will have to kneel down on the spot and wait for a sewage treatment vehicle to arrive.
These are often found in isolated and infrequently visited places. Also in nightclubs, or in parks where there are no public restrooms, or where urinal drones are deployed when existing restrooms are broken. Although there is still some dislike in the general society, people who are familiar with these drones do not hesitate to use their services.
Urinal drones are made in two main ways. The first is full transformation, where the body and consciousness are completely reconstructed through latex goo. In this case, their original memories, personality, and identity are completely erased, leaving only the simple commands they were programmed with. The second is the “temporary” drone method, which is created through special suits and goo drugs. They are made to believe that they are just temporary service providers or part-time workers.
But here's the thing: these “temporary” drones will eventually meet the same fate as full drones. This is because the effects of the drug are permanent. The drugs alter the digestive system so that normal eating, digesting, and defecating activities are not necessary. However, their urinary function is not altered, so they have to store their own urine in a special pack attached to their thighs before they become full drones.
More importantly, even if you take off the suit, you can't return to your original lifestyle because you've already been droneized inside: you may look fine on the outside, but inside you've been transformed into a latex drone. In this situation, most “temporary” drones will eventually choose to reclaim their suits or convert to a full drone.
Gleipnir offers a 'getaway package'. These are primarily aimed at people in desperate social situations, such as criminals and debtors. In exchange for shelter while Gleipnir clears their criminal records and debts, they sign a contract to become a urinal drone. At first, it seems like a voluntary choice, but the permanent effects of the drug and the physical changes it causes eventually lead to an irreversible path.
The urinal drone's state of consciousness becomes extremely simplified once the transformation is complete. Only basic commands such as “I am a urinal drone,” “I drink urine,” “I go to the sewage treatment plant when full,” and “I obey Gleipnir” remain. The complex thoughts, feelings, memories, and desires of an intelligent life form are completely erased, and it exists only to serve its programmed purpose.
